I helped pace the 1:40 group for the Trinity River Run the last two years, and in 2017 I helped pass out beer at the finish line after completing the race. I love the nighttime venue, and thoroughly enjoy the scenic views of Dallas the course provides. Having the race start and finish in Trinity Groves makes for an easy segue to post-race fun.
I ran in middle school, high school, and in college before taking almost 15 years off as an adult, only to get back into running in my mid to late 30’s. I enjoy racing individually, as part of a relay team, or as a pacer for other various races in DFW. I competed in the Boston Marathon twice, and I have been part of two Texas Independence Relay teams (one that still holds the Mixed – Coed course record in 2013). I have also been part of two winning Male Master’s Teams at the Beach to Bay Relay Marathon in Corpus Christi, Texas in 2014, and 2015. Lastly, I was part of the winning Mixed Masters Relay team at the Dallas Marathon in 2017.
For the last 10 years I have been part of running groups in Frisco and Dallas and most recently in McKinney, Texas where I am active with the McKinney Running Club and Craig Ranch Running Club.
